Date: 2003-05-07Server Outage

We had a server outage since the 3rd due to our data line being cut during construction. The problem seems to be fixed and we are back up.

Date: 2002-07-25Updates and more...

After a long time I have made serveral updates to the downloads. The updates are as follows in no paticular order: RunModule,TrayModule,TaskModule,CaptionBarModule, and a new one ExMenu. Go check out ExMenu, the screenshot will explain a lot better than I can. Hopefuly the full ModuleShell will be out next week for purchase. BACK FROM THE DEAD: QuickDialer refuses to die and there is now a new version in the works that will add compatibility for Win98 and WinNT. If you are impatient and know how to replace the old executable you can pick up the new exe here. Again any QuickDialer are always welcome, just drop me an email.

Date: 2002-03-04ISP Switch

We are finally switched to a new ISP and all services should be working correctly now. There may be some intermittent service interruptions while we tweak some settings on this end. We apologize for the downtime.

Date: 2001-11-09Lots of Updates

As you may have noticed there is a slight change to the downloads page which improves the ability to find program updates. This lead the way for the recent update of QuickDialer and RunModule. There is also serveral new programs so head over to the downloads page and check it out. On a side note, the version of AutoDocuFile that is on the CVS contains several changes that allow it to be compiled in FreeBSD and possibly other *nix machines.

Date: 2001-09-04Updates and QuickDialer Problems

There is an update for RunModule which I encourage previous users to upgrade to even if it is just for the auto-complete feature. There is also a stand alone system tray program that I have created, and am currently using. As for the version of QuickDialer that is on the downloads page. There is a problems with it on 9x/ME machines. Unfortunately I do not have a computer with one of these operating systems, nor do I have a functional dial-up connection, so I am asking for some help from developers out there using QuickDialer to take a look at the sources. They are available from the CVS using the same login as with AutoDocuFile except change "autodocufile" to "quickdialer". Thanks for the help.

Date: 2001-08-05Server Upgrades

The server has gone through a complete reinstall, and is now running FreeBSD 4.3. The port of AutoDocuFile to *nix is almost complete, and the next version of QuickDialer is almost out of beta testing phase, which will include many user requested improvements. If you would like to help with the beta testing just drop us an email.

Date: 2001-07-15Server Down

Go figure the server decides to go down the weekend that I'm out of town. Just got back today and realized that it was down. The hard disk seems to be failing, so there will the a future outage when I bring the new drive online. There will be a scheduled outage the first week of August when my ISP will be performing some network upgrades so don't panic if you can't access the site for a few days.

Date: 2001-04-17Busy in Development

As you may have noticed there has been very little activity on the site in the way of new programs. This is the exact opposite of what is occurring in the development lab. A new version of QuickDialer is in the beta testing phase. This version will fix many of the problems of the previous versions. Also AutoDocuFile is coming along very nicely. It is magnitudes ahead of the previous versions in speed and functionality. If you would like to preview the technology drop me an email. Sending in suggestions, comments, or even a thanks is much appreciated. Also by signing up for services on the Free Stuff page is what supplies the money to continue running this server, as well as the development process.

Date: 2001-02-09Upgraded Server

Finally upgraded the server.

Date: 2000-11-17New Programs

Finally I have some new programs and updates to others. I have created a program that allows you to easily save your Diablo 2 players and restore them. Also I have fixed several problems in RunModule and have add a status box to allow users to see what the program is doing.

Date: 2000-09-23New Site Design

I have got my new site up. I hope that it is easier to navigate. This new site design took a lot of my time so the next version of AutoDocuFile will be on later today or tomorrow. I have a new version of RunModule that I will be releasing soon. It acts just like the "Run" command on the start menu, and is able to do the extra actions like "explore", "find", etc. Be sure to check out the new page of free stuff. It has some great offers.

Date: 2000-09-23Want to help with AutoDocuFile?

I currently do not have the time to update and maintain AutoDocuFile. It was my first real project, and I would hate to see it die before I can truly make it shine. So I am asking anyone with knowledge of Visual C++ or that would like to be a beta tester, and would like to help with this project I would greatly appreciate it. If you would like to help please e-mail me here.

Date: 2000-09-06I Need Your Help!

I am about to upgrade my server since I am getting so many more visitors, but I don't have the money so I am asking everyone to please sign up for at least one of my sponsors. Each sponsor is FREE and they provide GREAT services. This will allow me to help you by providing a faster more interactive site. Also by signing up for my sponsors you allow me to spend more time creating quality freeware, rather than trying to raise funds for my programs. Thanks for your support, and please sign up for my sponsors.

Date: 2000-08-31Sorry for the downtime

Sorry for the downtime for the last 2 days, I got moved on the switch and there were some routing problems. Everything should be fine now. Enjoy the quality freeware and remember to visit my sponsors.

Date: 2000-08-20DNS Server

There was a problem with my DNS server that is why the website has been down. Remember to visit and sign up for my sponsors, because that is what keeps my programs free.

Date: 2000-08-11Big Update

Finally my new server is up and running. My new webserver is running Apache WebServer with PHP/MySQL on Slackware Linux. If you are interested in having your own webserver you can contact the Web Development Specialist that setup my server at Web Development Specialist . With this I have released several program updates, and 3 programs that were made in the process of creating my other programs. These programs have the source included so as to aid other who are learning to program in VC++.

Date: 2000-07-19New Server

Well I think the transition to the new server is almost complete, just adding administrative tools so that updating the site will take less time and leave more for development for quality freeware. So when that is over I have bunch of new products that I will release so stop by soon.

Date: 2000-06-20New QuickResource v2.00

There is a new version of QuickResource that is available on the downloads page. I plan on releasing some of my "Useless" utilities which I have made for learning purposes.

Date: 2000-06-15New Site

Well I've got my new site up. I hope you think it looks a lot better, and remember I am available for hire if you like my work. If there are any problems with the site broken links, can't download, etc. please e-mail me. Thanks.

Date: 2000-06-12Upcoming Run Module

The Windows shell is coming along very slowly. I've got a small "Run" command module working, and I'll hopefully put it up next week.

Date: 2000-06-07Upcoming AutoDocuFile Version

My next version of AutoDocuFile is coming along very nicely, and I expect it to be complete before August. Some improvements that I have made are that it now does the scanning (searching through the files) faster and I've added images on the buttons so that the UI is much more user friendly. Also there is a progress meter, a file count, an amount of memory scanned, the ability to make your search case-sensitive, and can search all the sub-directories of the working directory.
